SalaryMake a difference in the lives of the elderly with Activities. No certification required just a love for the elderly and the desire to have fun and get paid doing it. This position is part time, three shifts per week (3:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.). The scheduled workdays are flexible. We pay up to $18/hour depending on experience.
Activities Assistants implement and facilitate the schedule of activities for our 68 bed skilled nursing facility. Our activities and crafts are social, physical, educational, spiritual and, of course, fun! Qualifications for Activities Assistant: an enthusiastic individual who truly enjoys working with the senior population is required. Experience with seniors in a long term environment preferred. Creativity and/or hobbies in arts and crafts and/or music a plus but not required. Must have a genuine, compassionate heart for our population. (Pushing wheelchairs and being able to lift folding tables to set up and breakdown activities is required.)
