Recovery Room Nurse For Outpatient Center

We are seeking a Recovery Room Nurse for an outpatient facility. In this position, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing vascular procedures in an outpatient center.

Responsibilities:

Patient:

Gather clinical information and assess patients prior to procedures.

Confirm written orders,consents, and lab work are completed and documented in accordance with facility policies

Provide Recovery Room patient care and discharge assessment

Call patients in advance of procedures to provide pre-operative instructions

Call patients undergoing procedures following procedures to perform post-operative checks

Maintain competency with all emergency operational procedures, and initiate emergency measures, as needed.

Minimum Experience/Knowledge:

Proficient in IV insertion.

License:

Current state license to practice as Registered Nurse Or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)

Minimum Education:

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.

Certifications:

Basic Life Support certification.

Advance Cardiac Life Support certification
