Job Description
***This position is only open to Phase 2 or 3 Drug Court Participants who are in good standing with a minimum of 6 months of abstinence***
This position is for the purpose of gaining work experience. The primary role will be to plan, coordinate, and execute sober social activities in and around Mariposa, including North County (Greeley Hill, Coulterville, Done Pedro, and Hornitos) and work to create sober social opportunities and connect drug court participants with others in recovery.
This position will last for a term of 6 months. An extension may be considered in the event there are no drug-court participant applications.

Schedule: Thursdays 12pm-3pm
Essential Duties
Duties
- Identify platforms and spaces that will support sober activities.
- Research and develop event ideas, plan, and execute the events.
- Keep records (tally or ticket sales) of participation numbers.
- Document planning activities on service log.
- Maintain records and contact information for Recovery Friendly local business for future planning.

- Attend regularly scheduled Recovery Coaching meetings.
- Utilize supervision for support
- Other duties as assigned.
Other Requirements:
- Must complete finger printing and background check upon hire, at Alliance expense. Failure to pass fingerprint clearance or background may result in withdrawal of job appointment
- Must have reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and DMV clearance
- The Alliance highly recommends vaccination against COVID-19. Staff are not required to be vaccinated but are required to show proof of vaccination upon hire should they have it.
- Can be depended upon to report consistently to work at scheduled time and is seldom absent from work.
- Notifies supervisor with appropriate notice when absent.
- Employee can be depended upon to complete work in a timely, accurate, and thorough manner and is conscientious about assignments.
- Follows instructions, responds to management direction, takes responsibility for own actions, keeps commitments
- Must be a drug court participant in Phase 2 or 3.
- Must be a drug court participant in good standing, a minimum of 6-months abstinence.
- Must attend the 5-day 30-hour Recovery Coach Academy.
- Sign a Recovery Coach ethical code of conduct.
