Title:Recovery Coach (Entry-Level Mental Health Worker)
Job Duties: The Recovery Coach (Entry-Level Mental Health Worker) is responsible for monitoring and communicating with clients, providing rehabilitation groups under supervision, and assisting in crisis intervention. This is a critical part of the team to ensure proper care for our clients. Many go on to be promoted to Service Coordinator roles.
Schedule:
- Full Time PM
- Full Time NOC
- Part Time AM
- Variable AM, PM, NOC
Qualifications:
- Minimum of a high school diploma/GED.
- Minimum of two years of clinical experience as applicable in a psychiatric setting.
- In the absence of two years of experience, training may be substituted. This training will be based on, but not limited to, the in-service plan for 52 hours.
- Driving duties may be assigned, including the transportation of clients. Candidates must have a valid CA Driver's License and successfully pass a DMV driving history check.
About the Campus: Our House is a 46-bed Adult Residential Facility (ARF) / augmented Board and Care licensed by Community Care licensing. We serve individuals in a therapeutic environment assisting them in gaining their independence back into the community through wellness and recovery. Clients at Our House work together to create a home-like atmosphere, with shared housekeeping, cooking and other chores.
