Goldberg Segalla, a dynamic and rapidly growing law firm with a national practice, seeks a highly motivated and organized individual to join its team as a Records Clerk in its office located in Manhattan. Job Description: Receives incoming legal documents and facilitates scanning based on priority Reviews scanned records, identifying essential deadlines and information to be noted by attorneys Assigns naming based on firmwide conventions and organizes records in the Document Management System according to classification standards Electronically saves scanned records, filing documents under their respective client and matter numbers Maintain distribution lists for electronic delivery of mail to attorneys and staff Assumes responsibility for maintaining the highest level of confidentiality of all firm records and files Assists in all other office duties as assigned Requirements/Skills: One (1) year of previous law office experience preferred Strong attention to detail Basic personal computer skills and ability to understand and use firm software Ability to work well under pressure, a professional demeanor, excellent judgment, superior communication skills, written and verbal, and strong client service skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to organize and prioritize multiple assignments, use initiative and judgment to accomplish results, and complete job assignments in an accurate and timely manner Ability to work within a team environment The ideal candidate should be motivated with the goal of becoming a long term asset within the organization Educational Requirements: Associate's degree or equivalent legal support experience Benefits: This role offers a hourly salary and bonus opportunity. The hourly salary range for this position is $19-$21.
