Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a receptionist or in a customer service role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures is a plus.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in computer systems and basic office software.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality in handling sensitive patient information.
- Friendly and professional demeanor.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist patients upon arrival.
- Schedule and confirm appointments.
- Manage phone calls and correspondence.
- Maintain patient records and update information.
- Process insurance claims and handle billing inquiries.
- Provide administrative support to dental staff.

- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques
- Maintain accurate patient records
Skills:
- Proficiency in using dental software systems, such as Epic and Eaglesoft
- Knowledge of medical terminology and coding
- Strong understanding of infection control protocols and practices
- Ability to take and record vital signs accurately
- Familiarity with dental anatomy and terminology
As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the dentist and ensuring the smooth operation of the dental practice. Your skills in using dental software systems, knowledge of medical terminology, and understanding of infection control protocols will be essential in providing high-quality care to our patients. Additionally, your ability to take and record vital signs accurately and your familiarity with dental anatomy will contribute to the overall success of our practice.
