QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma
- Ability to function successfully in an administrative office.
- Excellent secretarial skills including proficiency in computer literacy and record keeping along with strong analytical, communications, and organizational skills.
- General understanding of the district's administration, organization, rules, regulations, and practices.
REPORTS TO:
Administrator in charge of office
JOB GOAL:
To perform secretarial tasks for the administrator.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Types correspondence, reports, notices and other material as required.
- Obtains, gathers and organizes pertinent data as needed and puts it into usable form.
- Maintains a regular filing system, as well as a set of locked confidential files, and processes incoming correspondence as instructed.
- Places and receives telephone calls and records messages.
- Orders and maintains supplies as needed.
- Performs any record keeping tasks associated with the specific position.
- Maintains a schedule of appointments and makes arrangements for conferences and interviews.
- Performs other tasks as may from time to time be assigned by the administrator.
COMPENSATION:
Should be commensurate with salaries prevalent with district of the same size.

12 Months

As per current district vacation policy.
EVALUATION:
Performance of this job will be evaluated annually in accordance with provisions of the Board's policy of Evaluation of Personnel.
