The Role You Play
As a Customer Service Representative Team Lead at Pawnee Mental Health Services, you will act as the immediate floor supervisor for all Customer Service Representatives – documenting concerns and providing training to new hires as needed. Takes a leadership role in the department, covers vacancies, and assists the Office Supervisor with projects as needed.
The Day-to-Day
- Serve as region-specific Foster Care Intake and Data Manager
- Primary region-specific Comp Eva! Assignment Coordinator
- Act as a role model for all staff in providing friendly, hospitable and compassionate customer service to all visitors of the agency.
- Identify and communicate concerns with staffing and procedures to Office Supervisor.
- Provide support to supervisor with CSR scheduling and other various administrative tasks.
- Provide training and mentoring for CSRs within assigned region.
- Primary back-up for CSR coverage in any satellite office or outside region at the direction of their supervisor.
- Other Duties as Assigned
- Maintain and advance knowledge and skills related specifically to position or to field of work through regular review of pertinent materials or participation in training events as approved by supervisor.
- Adhere to the standards, policies and instructions established by PMHS Policy and Procedure and any applicable ethical codes within field of employment.

This role acts as the face of the organization, as such the ideal candidate is levelheaded and capable of remaining professional in all situations. Team leader negotiates persuasively, and creates an environment where staff are inspired to do their best work. They are also an excellent multitasker, willing to work as a team.
- Required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic personal computer skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills in English
- Preferred
- Previous clerical experience, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and managing multi-line phone systems
- Experience and/or solid understanding of the Customer Service Representative role at Pawnee
- Multi-lingual skills
Results of criminal and all other applicable background checks must meet the approval of Pawnee Mental Health Services.
