Receptionist

The Shearer Automotive Group is seeking an outgoing Receptionist / Vehicle Administrator to join our growing administrative team. A positive demeanor and excellent customer service skills are a must to succeed in this role.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

• Answers incoming phone calls, directing callers to the applicable department or staff member in a professional, friendly, and efficient manner.
• Communicates messages to appropriate parties in a timely manner.
• Receipt of funds from Sales and or Service departments.
• Enters sales information in the DMV log.
• Assists with clerical duties as requested.
• Maintains a professional appearance and workspace.
• Performs other duties as apparent or assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• 12+ months related Customer Service or Receptionist experience preferred

OTHER KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

• Solid understanding of customer service best practices
• Ability to use PCs, printers, calculators, and related equipment.
• Ability to use word processing software
• Ability to create and use spreadsheets

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
