Baylor Surgicare Waxahachie is seeking a Receptionist to join our team!!
Receptionist at Baylor Surgicare Waxahachie:
- Performs clerical duties including distribution of mail and messages, monitoring office supplies, and maintaining postage meter
- Assist with chart preparation
- Assist with Admissions
- Check in pre-op patients
- Copy identification and insurance
- Communication with Pre-Op nursing staff
- Collect patient responsibility as determined by the Insurance Verifier
- Provide relief to Admitting, Office Assistant, and Scheduling as required
- Operates telephone system including receiving incoming calls, taking messages, identify nature of business and call
- Other duties and responsibilities as by Business Office Manager
- Participate in USPI EDGE program

Required Skills:

- One to three months of related experience and/or training Or Equivalent combination of education and experience
- Communication skills: ability to effectively present information to patients, physicians, and other employees of surgery center
- Basic math skills.
