Position Summary:
Oversees cage/storeroom by utilizing computerized inventory system and check-out process. Receives all products into inventory system and into accounting system. Works with Maintenance, Production, Purchasing, and Quality personnel to assure that needs are met. Communicates item needed to Purchasing.
Major Responsibilities/Activities

• Receive all items into computerized accounting system.
• Label and stock areas with received items.Ensure inventory and location are maintained in accounting system for items received.
• Label and maintain cage/storeroom.
• Assist with implementation of MRO Storeroom Inventory system.
• Assist Purchasing in stocking levels and items needed to purchase.
• Ensure departments have items needed from the cage/storeroom.
• Ensure that the cage/storeroom area is kept clean and orderly.
• Must be able to pick up parts at another location if needed.

Other Functions:
Other duties as assigned by the VP of Finance.
Decision Making:
Understanding Min/Max levels to ensure that stocking levels are maintained.
Financial Responsibility
(Budget requirements, purchasing authority or recommendations, control cost):
Recommendation of needed stock.
Contacts
(Interaction with staff, management, other plants, suppliers/vendors, and/or within the community):
Frequent contact with plant staff and management. Occasional contact with suppliers/vendors.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
(Include education, experience, reasoning ability, special skills, computer ability and licenses or certifications required):
Ability to work with a computerized accounting/inventory system
Proficient with Microsoft Excel.
Ability to maneuver boxes and items up to 50lbs.
Prior inventory or storeroom experience preferred.
Valid Driver's License and ability to obtain and operate equipment necessary to put product away.
Communication Skills:
Fluent English - Written and Verbal
Supervisory Responsibilities (if any): None
Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift boxes and put always necessary inventory.
Forklift certification required.
