Overview
As the Material Handler, you will be required to help maintain warehouse stock, assist in fulfilling orders, unload product deliveries, stage products based on customer orders and assist with organizing and maintaining existing inventory. Reporting to the Receiving Department Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for playing an integral part in our mission to continue leading our industry in quality while consistently exceeding expectations for a bakery with more than 600 total staff members that create delicious cheesecakes and memorable experiences.

Responsibilities
- Review pick sheets based on customer orders and then pulling the right products for each order.
- Unload delivery trucks and make sure that each incoming delivery matches the company purchase order.
- Collaborate with management and purchasing groups to determine when product is missing in a delivery.
- Maintain inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock; recording location of inventory through proper transaction with scanner in Ross system.
- Locate materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on Material Requirements Report (Pick List).
- Document materials and supplies disposition by recording units delivered and location of units via proper transaction with scanner in Ross system.
- Receive returned material and supplies from production by verifying materials and supplies part number, lot number and quantity; placing materials in stock.
- Maintain material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections sheet.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Qualifications
- 1+ years working with stand up forklifts.
- Must be available to work 2nd shift (2:00 pm - 10:30 pm).
- Ability to lift loads up to 50 pounds.
- Able to work weekends, holidays and evenings.
- Strong attention to detail.
- High school diploma/GED or relevant work experience.
