Receiving Clerk

Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments
- Verify accuracy of received items against purchase orders or invoices
- Unload and load trucks using appropriate equipment
- Sort and distribute incoming materials to appropriate departments or storage areas
- Maintain accurate records of received and shipped items
- Assist with inventory control by conducting regular stock counts and reconciling discrepancies
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment
- Operate warehouse management system (WMS) and RF scanners to track inventory movements
- Pick and pack orders for shipment to customers or other locations
- Maintain a clean and organized work area

Skills:
- Experience in shipping and receiving operations
- Ability to safely operate equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks
- Proficiency in using computer systems, including AS400 or similar software
- Knowledge of picking, packing, and distribution center processes
- Familiarity with e-commerce order fulfillment practices
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects as needed
