SalaryJOB SUMMARY: We are looking for an Accounts Payable/Receivable Clerk to join our growing team! The right candidate will have a background in Accounting and has strong communication skills. We need someone with a winning attitude. To be a success in this position you will need to be reliable, and professional.
Responsibilities
- Post invoices
- Reconcile statements
- Disburse checks
- Prepares daily bank deposits
- Processes and receives Finance and Insurance (F&I) and necessary Sales monies
- Balance statements and finalize data
- Prepare accounts for payments and verify data in system
- Maintains records of daily transaction documentation
- Follow up on past due accounts and returned checks
Qualifications
- Experience using a dealership management system (DMS) and payroll platform
- Strong communication skills and eagerness to improve
- Self-starter who can work both independently and with a team
- Accounting degree (preferred, not required)
- Preferred AR/AP experience in automotive dealership
