The Support Services Receiving Associates are responsible for receiving, inspecting and recording shipments with raw material or products. You will be responsible for unloading packages and checking their contents to ensure they match the orders. This is not a supervisory position. Please look at schedule to see if its a fit for your application.
Receiving:
Collaborate with Department Manager for list of expected deliveries
Receives shipments and signs paperwork upon receipt
Unloads packages from incoming trucks
Inspect contents to ensure they are undamaged
Open and verify packages according to order invoices (quality, quantity, price, etc.)
Communicates any discrepancies or any mistakes identified to Department Manager so that they can contact the vendor
Prepares shipment that will be returned to vendors due to unsatisfactory quality, or replacements
Labels deliveries and allocates them to their designated place
Ensures that all invoices are signed
Performs and executes functions relating to merchandise preparation, staging and outbound shipments.
Maintain accurate records and assist in inventory control
Customer Service:
Providing premier customer service, including greeting them and responding to questions to all customers and staff
Responds quickly and in a friendly manner to customer inquiries and complaints
Reports all irregular issues and problems to the Store/Department Manager for solutions
Exceeds Customer Service Department’s sales goals assigned through the efficient execution of Company policies and procedures
Conducts transactions professionally
Works various shifts, days or nights as assigned by Store/Department Manager in accordance with the Company’s business needs
Store Support:
Maintains good communication with store management, associates and suppliers/vendors
Serves as a back-up in other departments as needed
Attends department and all store meetings, as assigned or needed
Inventory:
Notifies immediate supervisor of out of stock cleaning products
Maintenance:
Maintains cleanliness of work area, storage area, and selling floor
Ensures a safe and secure work environment
Expected Schedule:
Monday, Wednesday, Friday 6AM-2:30PM, Saturday 11AM-3PM
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $19.00 per hour
