Real Time Software Engineer

 

Job Summary: Seeking two Real Time Software Engineers with specialization in C/C++ or Python development for real-time systems, multi-threaded programming, and laboratory benchtop testing of software designs.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or related scientific/engineering field

• Proficient with C/C++ or Python development

• Experience in designing software for real-time systems

• Proficiency in multi-threaded programming in Linux and real-time OS environments

• Experience with laboratory benchtop testing of software designs

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with Kubernetes and Docker

• Master's degree or PhD

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop real-Time Software to support prototyping, lab experimentation, and field experimentation of novel communications applications.

• Collaborate with on-site and/or remote technical team members

• Prepare and share technical results with others

• Document work to aid other team members and activities

• Participate in on-site laboratory activities each week - including classified discussions, prototype development, test, debug.

• Possess an interim clearance at the start of the position but a full SECRET clearance is highly preferred.

 

Pay Details: $73.00 to $97.00 per hour
