Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Real Estate Title Examiner to join our team. As a Title Examiner, you will be responsible for conducting thorough research and examination of property ownerships, wills, easements, mortgages, and other related documents to prepare a Preliminary Title Report. Attention to Details, critical thinking, creative thinking, accuracy, and legality are a must. Prior personal experiences in Real Estate sales, wills, and/or other types of research is beneficial. Self-Motiviated and Self-Managed is critial in performing your duties effectively. Our clients are Real Estate Settlement companies, law firms, and engineering firms.

We will provide 2 weeks of hourly one-on-one training pay. Then, pay will be piece-rate by the service type provided. We care about you and want you up to succeed! We are team driven and constantly corrorborate and support each other as needed.

M-F 9am-5pm, Paid vacation, Federal and State Holidays

Responsibilities:

- Conduct comprehensive Real Estate Title searches online and onsite at Courthouse. Local travel 5%-10% as required

- Review and analyze property records, deeds, mortgages, liens, judgments, wills, business, and other relevant documents

- Verify legal descriptions and plats of properties to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations

- Prepare detailed hand-writen report form for client outlining findings and recommendations for resolving title issues

- Collaborate with business office and other stakeholders in-person, by phone, or email as required to facilitate client needs

- Provide guidance and support to internal teams regarding schedule and service related matters

- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to title examination

Requirements:

- 2+ years of college and/or related experience preferred

- Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical skills

- Ability to interpret legal documents and identify potential issues or risks (critical thinking)

- Excellent communication skills, both hand-written, typed, and verbal

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively

- General use of office equipment, computers, printers, scanners, etc

- Proficient in using keyboard for data entry purposes

- Familiarity with database research, online application use,

- Microsoft office suite

- Valid drivers license

- Reliable Fuel Efficient vehicle

- Previous Real Estate industry experience a plus
