Rate: $27.22/HR

Position Responsibilities:
  • Auditing and Surveillance:
    • Investigate client policy violations like tailgating and piggybacking.
    • Monitor designated areas through exterior and interior cameras, promptly responding to potential dangers and client concerns.
    • Dispatch security response teams as necessary.
    • Evaluate and assess the root cause of alarms or intrusions to ensure effective response.
  • Threat Identification:
    • Identify potential threats with minimal information/description.
    • Provide detailed information packages to support ongoing investigations.
    • Stay vigilant for signs of protests, riots, or other civil disturbances outside or around company property.
    • Monitor relevant news sources, social media, and other platforms to stay informed about potential protests or gatherings that may impact security.
  • CCTV Audits and Documentation:
    • Conduct both real-time and planned audits of CCTV systems.
    • Maintain and update all tracking (trouble tickets) systems for accuracy.
    • Maintain precise control of all assigned equipment in the Control Room.
    • Log incident reports, investigation findings, and after-action reviews accurately in spread sheets and shift pass-downs.
    • Inform leadership promptly about any missing, damaged, or inoperative equipment or communication systems.
  • Communication Skills:
    • Exhibit a customer service-oriented approach in interactions with leadership, clients, peers, and the general public.
    • Respond promptly and professionally to client concerns, addressing issues and providing assurance regarding security measures.
    • Maintain a positive and approachable demeanor while upholding security standards and protocols.

Position Requirements:
  • 18 years of age or older
  • High School Diploma or GED Required
  • Must be able to provide exceptional customer service to our clients and their guests
  • Must be responsible, accountable, objective, and have a strong work ethic
  • Must have a strong grasp of appropriate and professional verbal / written communication
  • Conflict resolution and de-escalation skills a plus
  • Customer service background preferred
  • Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a professional manner
  • Intermediate to Advance computer proficiency
  • Ability to remain calm and handle high-stress situations in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated excellence in providing customer service
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Ability to multitask and discern patterns in detail
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment

Preferred Qualifications:
  • A bachelor's degree in information systems or a related field is desired (or a combination of education, training and/or experience that provides an equivalent background required to perform the work of this position)
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in a security-related field or technical-related field
  • Experience in security-related technologies, including knowledge of access control or monitoring systems
