Reach Lift Operator

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Stand up Reach Operator to join our team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for operating a forklift to move, load, unload, and build materials within our warehouse and distribution center. Your role will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our warehouse.

Responsibilities:

- Operate a forklift to safely and efficiently move materials throughout the warehouse

- Load and unload trucks, ensuring accurate placement of materials

- Build and stack pallets of products according to specifications

- Perform routine inspections on the forklift and report any maintenance or repair needs

- Maintain a clean and organized work area

- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations

Requirements:

- Valid forkLift Operator certification

- Proven experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or distribution center setting

- Strong knowledge of materials handling procedures

- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals

- Basic mechanical knowledge to perform routine inspections on the forklift

- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

- Ability to work independently or as part of a team

- Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with warehouse supervisors, shipping/receiving personnel, and other team members

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
