SEMICONDUCTOR & ASSEMBLY SOLUTIONS (SAS)
As a global supplier to the semiconductor industry, we provide advanced copper interconnects, die attachment, wafer bump processes, solder technologies, fluxes, cleaners, and other attachment materials for the integrated circuit fabrication, semiconductor packaging, and electronic assembly industries. As an Intern with McDermid Alpha Electronic Solutions you will support the Research and Development Team with general R&D operations and organizational tasks. In addition, you will work on various projects and initiatives that could impact the Business globally. As a member of our R&D team, the candidate will collaborate closely with metrology teams, the pilot manufacturing team, and industrial partners. The position offers an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of technological innovation and make significant contributions to the advancement of microchip technology.
- Bachelor’s degree (Completed or In-progress) in chemistry or chemical engineering or materials science.
- Some knowledge in electrochemistry, and formulations of wet chemicals, experience preferred.
- Sample Preparation
- Bench-Scale electroplating
- Ability to carry out tasks with some supervision.
- Ability to work safely in a chemical lab.
- Ability to analyze data, draw conclusions, and report them clearly and concisely.
- Willingness to work in a team environment.
- Handle multiple activities simultaneously and ensure accurate and timely completion of tasks.
- Local candidate to work an estimated 40 hours per week
