Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated R&D Engineer Manager with a strong background in semiconductor technology. The ideal candidate will lead a team of talented engineers to drive innovation, design, and development of advanced semiconductor products. The R&D Engineer Manager will be responsible for overseeing the entire research and development process, ensuring the successful execution of projects, and contributing to the overall success of our semiconductor division.
Responsibilities:
Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of R&D engineers. Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.
Oversee the entire R&D process, from concept to product delivery. Develop project timelines, allocate resources, and ensure timely completion of milestones.
Provide technical expertise and guidance to the team in the design, analysis, and optimization of semiconductor devices and processes.
Drive continuous improvement and innovation within the semiconductor division. Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape.
Collaborate with other departments, including manufacturing, quality assurance, and marketing, to ensure seamless integration of R&D efforts into the overall product development lifecycle.
Manage the R&D budget, ensuring cost-effective utilization of resources while maintaining high-quality standards.
Ensure that all R&D activities comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and legal requirements.
Provide regular updates to senior management on project status, challenges, and opportunities. Prepare and present technical reports and presentations.
Qualifications:
Master's or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Semiconductor Physics, or a related field.
Proven experience in semiconductor research and development, with a focus on designing and optimizing semiconductor devices.
Previous experience in a leadership or managerial role, leading a team of engineers.
Strong project management skills with a track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time.
In-depth knowledge of semiconductor fabrication processes, materials, and testing methodologies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Familiarity with industry regulations and standards.
Compensation:
Pay Range: Average $130,000 annually - Based on experience
