Summary:
As a Rail Compliance Analyst, Sr., you will ensure railroad service plans and service commitments are understood, documented, and compliance is measured and reported. Become a part of our dynamic team and we'll help you develop to a level that will exceed your expectations.
What You’ll Do:
- Ensure master data of rail schedules and service plans are maintained in all STG systems.
- Maintain and produce periodic (typically weekly, monthly, and quarterly) metrics and reports, including root causes and improvement actions
- Work closely with each rail’s service design group to understand the segments, waypoints, and service schedules
- Establish acceptable routes using the rail service schedules and input from STG’s Capacity Planning team
- Produce transit planning reports for consumption by other STG functions in establishing customer expectations
- Respond to inquiries regarding chronic service issues to include root causes and corrective actions
What You Will Bring:
- 3-5 years of logistics and transportation experience
- Extensive experience with railroad operations, including cutoffs, interchanges, and customs
- Good organizational and analytical skills; ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Works well under pressure; team player
- Ability to use standard office equipment such as computer terminal, calculator, fax machine, and copier
- Strong interpersonal traits such as ethics, values, diplomacy, and sensitivity are important.
- Innovative and creative in seeking solutions
- Effective communication, both in written and verbal form
- Computer literate and have basic to intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite programs such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Compensation & Benefits Information:
- Salary Range: $54,000 - $77,862
- Bonus Eligible
