The sign on bonus looks a little different for this path; it grows as your skills and abilities grow. A $5,000 bonus is paid after starting, $10,000 after 12 months, and $5,000 after 24 months. - This position is full-time with a flexible schedule.
- Call for cardiac emergencies is an important way we serve our community. This position takes call 10 - 12 shift per month.
- Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or
- Graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular program.
- One (1) year of experience in the Cardiac Cath Lab or
- Two (2) years of experience as a radiologic technologist preferred.
- Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technology (ARRT)
- Registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (RCIS)
- Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES)
- Must be able to take and respond to call within 30 minutes.
- Current CPR card or completion of course within 30 days of hire.
- Current ACLS certification within one year of employment.
- Advanced ECG interpretation skills required.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Knowledge of anatomy and radiation exposure required.
- Proficiency in radiation safety practices required.
- Core customer service skills required.
- Strong computer skills required.
- Able to work in latex burdened environment
- Must have strength and stamina for prolonged walking and standing
- Able to frequently lift up to 60 pounds, reach, pull, bend, stoop, and kneel
- Demonstrates adequate vision or correctable glass to read, write, and evaluate medical images
- Able to hear or correctable with hearing devices and able to talk to converse with others in person and over the telephone
- Able to hear, see and feel to accurately observe, monitor, and administer care
- Possess fine motor skills and hand/eye coordination to give care.
