What You'll Do
- This position is accountable for operating the x-ray rooms, portables, and CT Scanner in a safe and proficient manner.
- Transportation of patients, handling telephone calls for scheduling patients, answering questions related to reports of exams.
- Knowledge of x-ray equipment, anatomy and positioning are essential for a quality exam.
- Must be able to handle multiple demands simultaneously and keep a helpful attitude towards patients, their families, office personnel, physicians, and associates.
- Must be able to coordinate patient prepping and scanning to maximize smooth patient flow.
- Must demonstrate knowledge of contrast media injections and reactions
What You'll Bring
- Graduate of an accredited two-year Radiologic Technology training program in a school approved by the Council of Medical Education of the AMA.
- BLS certification required
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)
