Cardiothoracic Radiologist Opportunity in Scenic Portland, Maine Area

We are seeking a board certified Diagnostic Radiologist who has completed a Cardiothoracic Imaging fellowship to meet the needs of an expanding robust cardiac imaging program, including adult, pediatric and congenital cardiac MR and coronary CT imaging. As part of our thriving team of over 40 radiologists with strong collegial relationships with pediatric and adult cardiology, pulmonary and thoracic surgical services, the successful candidate will have a focus on cardiac MRI and CT, general chest imaging, while also providing a broad range of radiology services. Working in a state-of-the-art environment with 24/7 PACS connectivity throughout multiple hospitals in Maine and New Hampshire, you will provide services in Southern Maine, particularly in Portland. While we provide interpretations for numerous hospitals and outpatient imaging facilities, we are currently performing cardiac MR imaging on three 1.5T (one dedicated cardiac magnet) and one 3T magnets. You will be part of a large, subspecialty group with an emphasis on quality assurance which enables us to be a leader in patient care. Maine Medical Center is a teaching affiliate of Tufts University, with a radiology residency program. Additional candidate responsibilities include working with our residents, presenting didactic lectures, and participating in multi-disciplinary conferences.
