Radiation and Health Physicist, Bioenvironmental Engineer
KBR is forming a team responsible for delivering exercise events initiated to increase the Air Force's mission sustainment capabilities in a post nuclear detonation setting. In support of Counter-Nuclear Warfare (C-NW) operations, the Air Force developed a tabletop exercise (TTX) that provides a mechanism for units to quantitatively assess their C-NW readiness for scenarios where the site is in the downwind hazard area from nuclear fallout.
The KBR team will be responsible for developing and executing this TTX at multiple OCONUS bases and will be required to research, review documents, and coordinate with USAF subject matter experts prior to the conduct of the exercise(s) at USAFE bases.

KBR is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Radiation and Health Physicist, Bioenvironmental Engineer to be a member of this team. The applicant must be able to work with appropriate HAF and U.S. Air Forces-Europe (USAFE) representatives (e.g., A3, A4, A10, SG, IG) to ensure efforts are synergistic and not duplicative or conflicting.
The applicant will be required to both travel and conduct virtual meetings to support collaborative development and exercise execution as follows: Lead in a two-day meeting, with overview/dry run of TTX with USAFE stakeholders, conduct three training events, one each at: Ramstein AB, RAF Lakenheath, and Incirlik AB, Turkey.
The position is not full time. The applicant will be expected to provide approximately 2.5 man-months of effort over six to nine months in support of this project.

Must have good leadership skills and be able to work with team members from across multiple contractors.
Must be willing to travel infrequently for 7- to 8-day events overseas.
Military experience desired
Ability to teach effectively in classroom environment desired.
Ability develop curriculum desired.
Advanced degree in health science desired
Employee may work remotely but will be required to travel to Dayton, OH and to several OCONUS locations.
