Leidos Dynetics, Advanced Technology Development department is seeking a Radar / EW Analysis Section Manager to lead a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Dynetics provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions.
We are seeking an experienced individual to provide leadership to a multidisciplinary engineering team to address diverse technical challenges for members of the Advanced Technology Integration Department’s Radar / EW Analysis Section and its customers. These challenges include advanced radar concept development & analysis, sensor system design, system testing and evaluation, and sustained field operations.
Primary Responsibilities
The individual filling this position will work with a wide spectrum of personnel including executive leadership, program managers, chief engineers, technical staff, business development, and functional organizations across the Dynetics / Leidos enterprise to provide:
- Effective and efficient execution of existing programs in support of a wide range of Department of Defense customers and contractors.
- Cultivation and development of existing customer relationships while working to develop new relationships that enhance and expand our customer base.
- Provide leadership, growth, and development of the technical staff and capabilities of the team to meet the growing demands of our customers, emerging business opportunities, and on-contract growth potential.
Basic Qualifications
MS degree from an ABET accredited college or university in Electrical Engineering or related technical field.
Candidates must have at least 5 years of experience in the analysis of sensor systems and subsystems, with a thorough understanding of technology focused DoD organizations and their missions.
The candidate must have experience in the following areas:
- Strong leadership credentials, good organizational skills, attention to detail, and a strong technical background.
- Demonstrated experience developing and leading a team of talented employees to provide high-end technical services in a competitive environment.
- Organization and management of a highly technical engineering and analysis staff.
- Enabling technologies including radar and EW, signal processing and tracking, physics modeling & simulation, analytical tool development, and data analysis.
Must be a resident of Huntsville, Alabama or be willing to relocate to the Huntsville, Alabama area .
Must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.
Pay Range:
Pay Range $101,400.00 - $183,300.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
