SUMMARY
As part of the Quoting and Analysis Team within the Marketing Department, the Quoting Analyst position is responsible for providing pricing support services to sales representatives, sales managers, architects, and distributors. Reporting to the Marketing Research & Analysis Manager, the Quoting Analyst will engage in competitor research and perform quantitative analysis to identify trends and measure the effectiveness of specific quoting strategies. The position is expected to fully understand the new construction process from the Design phase to the Construction phase to implement appropriate pricing strategies. Requirements of the position include exceptional oral and written communication skills, independent problem-solving skills, and excellent analytical and quantitative skills. This position will participate in team projects as well as individual projects.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the routine activities in the department to support sales representatives, sales managers, architects, and distributors:
    • Price factory quotes and custom accessories
    • Respond to compliance questions related to ADA, LEED, Buy America(n), EPD/HPD, ASTM requests
    • Respond to general designer/architect questions
    • Price premium toilet partition material
  • Understand the new construction process and distribution of Div10 projects to support pricing strategies
  • Support Marketing Research & Analysis Manager on generating and analyzing key metrics of quote conversion, competitor pricing, and other measures of effectiveness
  • Support Marketing Research & Analysis Manager on competitor research efforts
  • Work closely sales reps and sales managers to develop effective pricing strategies
  • Train sales reps on strategic quoting
  • Perform data analysis and complete Marketing projects as they arise
  • Manage leads and factory quote integration with CRM
  • Identify process improvements and automation beneficial to the department, the company, and the customer

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree and/or 5+ years related experience and industry
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal + written) with a collaborative mindset
  • Strong critical-thinking skills, including experience working on complex problems that require quantitative analysis.
  • Proven proficiency in MS Excel with experience in working with large sets of quantitative data
  • Must be articulate, able to write clearly; quick and accurate with figures.
  • Ability to think critically and independently make decisions based on information available
  • Ability to work under pressure and be flexible with constantly changing priorities
  • Possess the desire to grow the business and continuously improve everything we do

Salary: $80K - $95k
