What You'll Do
The Quality & Warranty Specialist is responsible for extended warranty pricing, quoting & invoicing as well as warranty data collection, analysis, and quality reporting. Other duties include some adjudication of Company product warranty claims in North America, including the processing of warranty claims based on product and policy knowledge, product-specific system maintenance, communication of policy changes, extended warranty process and procedure improvements, and dealer audits as assigned.

• Maximize company revenue by promoting and invoicing extended warranty plans; recovery of warranty expense caused by supplier component failures via negotiation with suppliers to resolve disputed claims. Perform Pareto analysis on claim data to support negotiation and work with technical staff to determine root cause / verify supplier responsibility.
• Focus on the negotiation of disputed claims, new supplier agreements, and settlement proposals as well as quality improvements.
• This role focuses on improving extended warranty sales and supporting quality improvements with thorough data analysis and reporting.
• Extended warranty pricing updates and benchmarking of competition. Complete tracking and completion of invoices for extended warranty plans. Responsible for extended warranty promotional ideas and implementation. Process owner for DEVELON extended warranty.
• Warranty Claims Management & Warranty System Maintenance
• Create and maintain essential quality and warranty reporting as required by the business. This includes monthly reporting maintenance and execution, design of new reports as required, and custom reporting support for project teams as needed.
• Monitoring the quality of NACUP yard and assembly line and communicating with headquarters.
• Communication of report data to stakeholders.
• Communication and training on policy and procedure changes to dealers and internal staff.
• Suggest and implement opportunities to improve policy or process to increase internal operating efficiencies, improve validity and recovery of claim expenses, or increase ease of dealer claim input and/or quality of information.

Requirements
What You'll Need to be Successful

• Education: Associate's degree in a technical field. Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience: 5-7 years
• Travel: up to 10%
• Lean Six Sigma Greenbelt or higher Certification Preferred.
• Troubleshooting skills.
• Comprehensive knowledge of heavy construction equipment is preferred.
• Effective verbal & written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational, prioritization, time management, and planning skills.
• Fluency in MS Office Suite (strong proficiency with Excel required).
