Mission

 

The Quality Technician identifies, evaluates and develops quality techniques in order to improve. This vital role will provide inspections and audits that will be used in determining the most effective and efficient way to produce the Highest Quality of product for our customers.

 

Roles and Responsibilities

 

The Quality Technicians primary role is to assist the Production Team in ensuring that all products are produced according to the customer's requirements. This role plays a vital part in providing the highest quality product to all customers.

Principle responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Provides support to production

Process rejections

Perform audits

Train employees in best quality practices to support QEMS

Complete non- conformance documents

Perform visual, layout, dimensional, non -destructive tests of materials produced in-house, and purchased against specified quality characteristics.

Performs first article inspections, Zero Defect Supply audit inspections, and special detail inspections

Assist in developing and implementing process audits establishing high standards of Quality

Monitor and evaluate supplier performance on product quality; address critical quality issues with vendor quickly

Conduct of quality improvement plan

Identifies problems in manufacturing and assembly process and communicate within team to provide solution

What we expect of you? 

Qualifications

 

  • Supervisory Responsibility: None 
  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in a Quality Technician role in a fast -paced manufacturing facility.
  • An Associate's Degree in Quality or High School graduate with equivalent work experience.

 

Must have prior knowledge of blue print reading and interpreting detailed drawings. The candidate must have knowledge of assembly techniques and machining practices. There must be proven knowledge of micrometer, calipers, go/no-go gages, thread pitch, torque wrenches, torque screwdrivers, dead weight testers, multi-meters (Digital voltmeters), and various precision instruments for metrology.
