Your responsibilities:

• Responsible for establishing strategic plans, policies and procedures at all levels so quality improvement efforts will meet or exceed internal and external customer’s needs and expectations.
• Oversees all aspects of the organization’s quality management and improvement efforts, such as developing and administrating the program, training and coaching employees, monitoring adherence to processes, and facilitating change throughout the organization.
• Provide expertise, training, and coaching in the application of the DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) methodology and Six Sigma Lean tool set, including knowledge application of statistics and other problem-solving skills.
• Apply the Design for Six Sigma DMEDI (Design, Measure, Explore, Develop, Implement) and PDSA (Plan Do Study Act) methodology to company processes.

Qualifications we are looking for:

• BS/BA in Chemistry or Engineering; advanced degree preferred.
• Industry Certifications a benefit
• Certified Lead IATF 16949 auditor is preferred
• 5+ years of experience with process, project and plant engineering areas for specialty chemicals design and manufacturing
• Proven leadership experience and skills
• Sound problem solving and decison making capabilities, with strong customer focus and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with process simulation software and data analysis software is desired
