We’re a growing manufacturer with an exciting opportunity for a Quality Compliance Supervisor based at our Phoenix, AZ facility.

Quality Compliance Supervisor Responsibilities:
Lead the establishment and oversight of a comprehensive Quality Management System to ensure company products align with engineering specifications and customer expectations. Identify and define key performance indicators (KPIs) for quality, implementing a visual quality tracking board for effective monitoring. Develop and implement a “Total Cost of Quality” measurement, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the organization.
Quality Compliance Supervisor Key Functions:
Quality Specification Development:
- Collaborate with Engineering and Marketing to define product specifications and understand customer needs.
- Create quality testing and inspection procedures for new parts and products to ensure consistent quality.
- Initiate and coordinate problem-solving activities, such as the 5 Whys technique, and drive process improvement in collaboration with Manufacturing personnel.
Prioritization and Communication:
- Establish and communicate priorities for reliability, failure analysis, supplier quality, and manufacturing engineering efforts.
- Participate in regular meetings, providing quality information to the team and ensuring timely dissemination of relevant updates.
- Maintain a Quality database to support the organization in ongoing quality improvement efforts.
Customer Service and Field Quality Issues:
- Receive and respond to requests from the Customer Service Group for assistance with quality issues identified in the field.
- Review monthly field reports, address quality issues with corrective action, and communicate resolutions back to the field service organization.
Supplier Collaboration:
- Collaborate with suppliers to address and resolve quality issues promptly.
- Maintain a supplier quality database to track and evaluate supplier performance.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in education and experience.
Qualifications:
- Five or more years of experience in quality or manufacturing engineering.
- Three or more years of supervisor experience with a focus on quality leadership.
- Strong leadership skills to guide, train, and counsel employees.
- Extensive knowledge of quality principles.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, Access, and Windows.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Problem-solving ability, including the identification, analysis, and recommendation of solutions.
Pay: $70,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
