1. GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The Quality Supervisor will be responsible for the design and maintenance of quality programs, including but not limited to QA plans, inspection procedures, work instructions, training, deviation investigations and CAPA management, facility mapping and validation projects. Establish and maintain basis for ISO compliance, client quality compliance, quality inspection, and procedures.
2. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
A. Complete process analysis of positions and work cells.
B. Document the positions and work cells work instructions, training documentation, and skill certification checklist to meet ISO compliance.
C. Manage the internal audit program to meet ISO compliance.
D. Manage the Microsoft instructions to meet the Microsoft Security and Policies and Procedures compliance.
E. Manage the quality inspectors completing incoming materials, in-process, and final product inspections.
F. Determine necessary inspection and test equipment required for incoming materials, in-process and final product inspections.
G. Establish and coordinate the assembly of records necessary for quality control tracking, including charts, statistical analysis and reports.
H. Manage the inventory control by the use of cycle counting to determine if documented processes are being followed.
I. Work with department supervisors/managers to resolve quality problems and inventory issues.
J. Other duties as assigned.
3. NON-ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
A. Keeps abreast of developments in quality.
B. Identify and train staff.
4. WORKING CONDITIONS
A. Climate controlled office setting, non-climate controlled manufacturing/assembly environment.
B. Light paper dust from corrugated materials.
C. Minimal travel required.
5. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
A. Must possess ability to communicate with customers both verbally and written and/or electronically.
B. Must be able to use telecommunication equipment and computer (PC).
C. Minimal physical exertion.
6. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
A. BS/BA degree in Logistics, Biology, Business Management, Industrial Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience
B. Minimum of 5 years’ prior experience in a similar position
C. Experience with implementation, maintenance of Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001, ISO 13485)
D. Experience with auditing of Quality Systems, use of problem solving skills and knowledge of SPC (Statistical Process Control).
E. Demonstrated leadership skills and interpersonal effectiveness.
F. Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
G. Knowledge of PCs and applications.
H. Strong analytical skills; inclination toward initiative.
