Quality Assurance Supervisor

On-site position located in Lake Mary, FL
Monday – Friday 6:00 am – 2:30 pm
Play a critical role in the quality of machined and fabricated parts when you become a Quality Assurance Supervisor for a busy metal fabrication shop in Lake Mary, FL.
Your New Role:
- As the Quality Assurance Supervisor, you will be responsible for planning, developing, practicing and administering Quality policies, procedures and programs to ensure compliance to the ISO 9001 standard, customer specifications, and customer satisfaction
- Assist production department leads in the development of operators capable of ensuring part quality requirements during production
- Make final decisions over quality issues and discrepancies at the plant level
- Supervise the training and development of quality technicians
What You Need:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of experience and education
- Minimum 5 years in a Quality Engineering/Technician discipline with supervisory experience
- Be familiar with accessing, controlling and using QMS master list of quality documents
- Be able to develop standards, work instructions, methods for inspection, testing, and evaluating products and processes
- Computer Skills: CAD, Microsoft Office, SPC-based software and Excel
- Proficient in GD&T and reading blueprints
- Knowledgeable of SPC, and PPAP submissions including FMEA, GAGE R&R, and Control Plan creation
- Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes including stamping, laser, CNC punch, press brake and welding
