Position: Quality Supervisor
Shift: 2nd Only
$70,000 - 80,000 + Healthcare, Dental, Vision
Location: Fayetteville, TN
Aegis Worldwide is partnering with a Tier 1 automotive supplier committed to delivering body-in-white closures, exhaust systems, flexible closure tooling, and stamping dies to automotive customers around the world. We are currently seeking a Quality Supervisor to join our team! The Quality Supervisor will lead the Quality team, drive continuous improvement, and foster a culture of excellence within the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain the quality management system IATF16949.
- Manage operations under the quality management system to ensure products meet customer needs.
- Define inspection protocols, sampling procedures, and testing equipment.
- Oversee internal and supplier audit activities, recommending improvements for continuous enhancement.
- Recommend improvements in materials, parts, and products based on inspection results.
- Lead the Quality team to achieve a robust quality process, collaborating with all teams for continuous improvement.
- Manage and assist in training for quality/technical documents, equipment, process control plans, and standard operating procedures.
- Analyze trends and metrics for quality production staff, ensuring efficient and accurate quality assessments.
- Interface with customers and vendors for quality assurance.
- Lead and participate in 5S, Quality, Safety, Delivery, Cost, Kaizen, and lean manufacturing activities.
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree and two years of quality/supervisor experience in an automotive/manufacturing environment, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Excellent written and oral communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and computer skills.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, teamwork, and leadership skills.
- Sound technical aptitude with a thorough understanding of stamping, automation, and manufacturing applications.
- SAP experience is preferred.
