About the Role
The Quality Control Supervisor is responsible for all team members' safety and well-being, overall development and supervision of team members, health and safety, quality, productivity, and ergonomic issues through using the company policies and procedures and the Magna Employee's Charter as a guideline. Ensure all quality functions are communicated and carried out to Drive's internal / external expectations. To support other department's continuous improvement programs. The focus of this position is to ensure customer expectation are meet throughout the facility.
Your Responsibilities
- Communicate quality issues with product through detailed passdowns to QC Manager, QC Auditors and Area Team Leader / Supervisor
- Responsible for containment of non-conforming product, generating quality alert, updating alert log, performing roundtable meetings and blocking of product in SAP.
- Perform Layered Process Audits as required per audit schedule. Ensure compliance to the Quality Management System in applicable areas of responsibility.
- Train quality auditors on quality standards, inspection techniques and requirements.
- Review issues from previous shifts.
- Perform start up meeting to ensure everyone is present, on time, and quality support is available for all areas.
Who we are looking for
- Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or five to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Your preferred qualifications
- Demonstrated proficiency in the use of precision measuring tools including tape measures, scales, vernier calipers, datamytes, etc.
- PDCA/8D/5 Why knowledge a plus
- Metal Finish and "A" class experience a plus
- Computer Skills: proficient in SAP, Microsoft Office, Excel, Power Point and Outlook.

Pay range: $60,000 - $75,000 annual
