Position Summary:
The Quality Specialist is responsible for assisting with quality assurance, survey preparation and representation for governing bodies. The Quality Specialist will audit functions of care in accordance with accreditation and regulatory standards. The Quality Specialist will prepare, deliver and communicate corrective action reports related to survey findings. The Quality Specialist is expected to demonstrate the company’s core values in the performance of all job duties.
Essential Job Duties:
- Assists with measuring quality by completing routine and/or focused internal audits of patient services and documentation,
- Partner with BrightView’s Regulatory Compliance team in preparing for accreditation surveys,
- Collaborate with BrightView’s Regulatory Compliance team in auditing charts and developing plans of correction to ensure adherence to county, state, and federal statutes,
- Develop corrective action plans and track the success of corrective actions implemented after surveys and audits with findings,
- Collaborate with site leadership to review corrective action plans and findings,
- Reviews reports and quality data to assist in auditing and reports,
- Facilitates, develops, and implements special projects as assigned by the VP, Quality Operations,
- Will travel to BrightView centers to complete audits, as needed; and
- Performs all other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Required Education/Degree:
Bachelor's Degree Required
Master’s Degree Preferred
