What you will be doing
Pay rate: $24/hr to $26/hr depending on experience
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm
Please note, this position is fully onsite at our Bethlehem, PA location. This position does not offer a remote or hybrid work option.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Monitors the overall compliance program at the operating level and works closely with the Quality & Regulatory Operations Manager.
2. Assists in reviewing and releasing C2 orders, and reviews blanks for completeness after they have been filled.
3. Assists in counting and verification of inventory.
4. Tracks and maintains records as per regulatory requirements.
5. Control Drug Substance report/packing slip review.
6. Scans and/or files courier proof of deliveries for the division.
7. Assists in ensuring general safety policies and procedures are followed in compliance with local, state, and federal OSHA regulations.
8. Inspects facility to detect existing or potential accident and health hazards; recommends corrective measures.
9. Monitor and respond to questions regarding facility licensing.
10. Participates in the investigation of drug thefts/losses.
11. Assists with the coordination of Compliance training programs.
12. Creates, manages and troubleshoots team members access cards for access to facility and restricted areas.
13. Conducts internal audits to ensure compliance with DEA, FDA, DSCSA, DOT, OSHA, and PDMA regulations.
14. Complies with all appropriate policies, procedures, safety rules and DEA regulations.
15. Respond to customer claims involving controlled substances orders.
16. Brings potential diversion activities and security breaches to the attention of Corporate Security and the Regulatory Compliance Manager; identifies areas of vulnerability and proposes reconciliation procedures.
17. Acts as liaison between customer service and internal compliance requirements.
18. Operates as liaison between corporate associates and Federal, State and local regulatory agencies.
19. Establishes and promotes the maintenance of a safe, accident free and healthy work environment.
20. Maintains all compliance, safety records and security files for the Distribution Center.
21. Completes daily facility inspections in support of Enterprise Quality Program.
22. Performs related duties as assigned.
What your background should look like
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Requires familiarity with regulatory matters developed either through relevant educational training through completion of a two year Associate’s Degree program, technical vocational training to equivalent combination of experience and education. Relevant experience generally would entail experience accountancy, regulatory affairs, compliance or similar vocations. Normally requires a minimum of two (2) or more directly related and progressively responsible experience. Experience in Compliance initiatives, or contract administration of a public or private company is highly desirable.
MINIMUM SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:
1. Knowledge of legal and regulatory compliance regulations
2. Knowledge of Federal, State and local regulatory agencies
3. Ability to follow and interpret government regulatory requirements and changes
4. Ability to implement processes resulting in satisfactory audit practices
5. Strong judgment and ability to resolve issues effectively
6. Ability to work independently
7. Ability to work quickly and efficiently
8. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
9. Good interpersonal skills
10. Good mathematical skill
11. Strong organizational skills; attention to detail
12. Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
