Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for machine and/or process setup, process management, process trouble-shooting and assisting the engineering department
Utilize technical education and training to ensure that all work is performed in an efficient and safe manner in accordance with corporate safety and quality standards.
Assists in the setup of equipment in accordance with operating procedures to ensure quality and productivity standards are met.
Identify any adverse condition affecting quality and productivity, and provides, or obtains support.
Ensure that all work being performed is done in a safe manner and promotes a “Safety First” culture.
Direct and assist in the training of employees assigned to the department.
Engage Teammates in department functions, processes, and equipment used to produce products.
Assist production Supervision and Teammates in trouble-shooting equipment and/or process inconsistencies or non-conformances.
Ensure that process parameters are consistent with process documentation and submits documentation change requests when appropriate.
REQUIREMENTS:
Associates Degree of Applied Science in Engineering Technology, or equivalent experience.
Assists other employees with tasks as necessary, ensuring proper setup of equipment and safe operation of all equipment and processes.
Reviews blueprints and/or process documentation to insure proper process procedures are being followed.
Prepare sketches and write work orders and purchase order requests.
Reports unsafe conditions to supervision and initiates work orders to correct unsafe conditions.
Establishes and maintains communication rapport with other Teammates.
Operates a variety of production/processing equipment where and when required to meet requirements for quality and first article inspection, and process development and/or trouble-shooting.
Uses appropriate gauging equipment and methods to monitor and maintain quality in the parts produced.
Pay Details: $25.00 to $28.00 per hour
