Our client is a global leader in the high-performance battery separators industry .
The Quality Manager will lead the efforts to obtain IATF 16949 certification for the lithium-ion (Li-ion) battery separator expansion project.
The Quality Manager will maintain the company library of compliance resources ensuring their accuracy, quality, and integrity and ensure company third party accreditations are maintained.
The Quality Manager will coordinate internal audits and monitor the compliance to and effectiveness of the Quality Management System (QMS). :
Responsibilities
Lead Li-ion battery separator expansion project to obtain IATF certification.
Ensure company third party accreditations are maintained (ISO 9001, IATF16949)
Conduct internal audits and lead customer quality audits.
Manage internal QMS audits and layered process audits.
Establish and support the development of the quality management system processes QMS.
Formally report Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to senior management
Promote customer requirements and quality awareness throughout the organization.
Requirements:
BS degree in appropriate field required.
Five years + IATF 16949 Quality Management Systems experience.
Project Management experience ideally in the battery industry .
Experience with IATF certification (Automotive, etc.)
Auditor Certification preferred.Strong interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.
Skilled in working across multiple disciplines including Sales, R&D and Operations.
Excellent written, listening, and verbal communication skills.
Able to work with minimal supervision.
Ability to prioritize, manage time well, multitask and troubleshoot.
