Quality Manager
As a Quality Manager, you will report directly to the Quality Director and will complete routine activities to monitor and coordinate the project quality program. This position will be responsible for reviewing documents, attending meetings, conducting walk-through inspections and investigating non-compliant conditions. You will also be responsible for coordinating, documenting and reporting quality control and quality assurance activities and performing quality control inspections and tests and for providing required documentation for the assigned areas or disciplines on a project.
Business needs:
- The position is located in Carol Stream, IL and will support all 4 technology solutions centers.
- Reports to the Quality & Environmental Director located in the Carol Stream, IL location.
- Will manage the compliance for all ISO requirements relating to facility, Health and Safety per 9K, 14K and 45K.
- Ensures all records are kept per the requirements to show compliance.
- Drives Corrective and Preventative Actions on any nonconformities identified.
- Drives the overall Warehouse 5S operations are in place.
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:
- Bachelor Degree or AA minimum
CERTIFICATES/LICENSES, ETC.:
- Six Sigma certification a plus
- PMP certification a plus
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Good writing skills for basic process documentation
- Business principles involved in operational planning, data analysis and timely reporting.
- Excellent time management skills
- Customer needs, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
- Experience in warehouse, quality, facility and OSHA requirements
- Strong organizational skills.
- Proficiency with excel, specifically Microsoft Office and exposure to smart sheets.
- Familiarity with ISO requirements and driving ongoing compliance.
- Ability to work effectively alone and is flexible to handle changes in priorities.
- Must be a highly motivated, service-oriented and team-oriented individual with an attention to detail.
