W.S. Darley is looking for a Quality Manager to join our growing team! The Quality Manager is responsible for overall implementation and continuous development of the Defense division's Quality Management System, ensuring all requirements of the QMS are satisfied to remain ISO 9001:2015 compliant. This position is in support of ISO 9001:2015 compliance in an office environment only and does not include manufacturing.

Requirements
Major Responsibilities
- Monitor and evaluate current processes and procedures, identifying areas for improvement. Drive continual improvement efforts across the division.
- Develop new processes and procedures where required. Coordinate training and implementation of changes with team members.
- Develop and implement work instructions for individual job functions within the division. Work with managers to ensure compliance with work instructions.
- Develop and implement key performance indicators based on individual team requirements. Work with managers to effectively measure performance against quality objectives and KPIs.
- Develop and implement divisional documents not currently in circulation but which may be required to better meet ISO:9001 2015 standards.
- Review current divisional documentation, updating or removing from circulation, as required.
- Identify internal and external nonconformances and work with impacted parties to implement corrective and preventative action plans.
- Work with customers to receive feedback and drive customer experience improvement initiatives.
- Schedule and lead management reviews, internal audits, and other meetings with key stake holders, as required by the QMS.
Supervisory Responsibility
This position currently has no supervisory responsibilities but may incorporate direct reports in the future, as required.
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses company standard office equipment such as computer and cell phones.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. or as otherwise required, including nights and weekends.
Travel
This position does not currently require travel.
Required Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree in a business discipline or equivalent experience.
Experience
- Minimum of two years in a professional business role.
- Familiarity with Quality Management Systems and requirements.
- ISO 9001:2015 certification and requirements of the standard.
- Knowledge or familiarity with Government contracting.
