Job Summary and Qualifications

What you will do in this role:

• In this role, you will assure continual state of survey readiness.
• You will review and communicate rules/regulations/standards changes.
  
• You will develop and implement monitoring processes to track opportunities for improvement.
  
• You will design and implement compliance strategies.
  
• You will be responsible for regulatory preparation (applications, unit prep and follow-up) for QRS and Joint Commission.
  
• You will participate in the organization’s patient safety program.
  
• You will attend required training that supports job responsibilities.
  
• Your role reports unannounced survey activity at the facility to the CQPSO for reporting up to appropriate HCA Division and corporate entities.
  
• You will assist with State, CM and other surveys.
• You will communicate opportunities for improvement at Nursing Leadership Council.
  
• You will provide policy/procedure drafts to assure regulatory compliance with standards/goals.
  
• You will provide reports of compliance quarterly to the Performance Improvement/Patient Safety Council.
  
• You will assist with other regulatory requirements (Leapfrog, FMEA, RCA’s) as required.
  

What qualifications you will need:

• Current Tennessee RN licensure or Tennessee LPN licensure with plan to complete RN training & sit exam within 24 months of hire
• Clinical Background: 5 years of experience, regulatory background preferred
• Associates, Bachelor's or equivalent experience
• Technical skills required: teaching, written, verbal, facilitation, computer, Internet/research
• Basic Cardiac Life Support
