The Quality Management Coordinator position involves Quality Assurance and Quality Control activities. The employee will be responsible for compliance with applicable regulatory requirements; conducts audits, analyzes data and reviews documentation. Assist in the development and implementation of quality assurance procedures, tracks quality metrics to recognize and identify areas where policies and procedures need to be changed or developed. Participates in defining quality issues and determining approaches and methodology for addressing these issues. Additionally, will assist in the development of Quality Systems.
Required Qualifications:
• Minimum of three years' experience in quality assurance activities in a regulated industry required.
• Bachelor's degree in a scientific field or completion of a certified Medical Technologist [MT(ASCP)] or Clinical Laboratory Scientist [CLS(NCA)] or equivalent combination of education and experience (One year of education equals one year of experience) required.
• Effective oral and written communication skills required.
• Experience with computer workstation and Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required.
• Experience within any of the following Quality Systems: Audits, Change Management, Document & Record Control, Deviation Management, CAPA, and/or Material Management required.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Prior quality assurance experience in laboratory, pharmaceutical, clinical medicine, blood bank, tissue bank, or medical device applications preferred.
• Experience with FDA, CAP, AABB, FACT and/or other regulatory/accrediting agencies preferred.
• Experience in training programs and equipment qualification preferred.
• Skills in Microsoft Access and Outlook preferred.
• Familiarity with current Good Tissue Practices (CGTP), Current Manufacturing Practice (CGMP), or Current Good Laboratory Practice (CGLP) production environments preferred.
• Operational experience with laboratory equipment, instruments, and reagents preferred.
• CQA (ASQ) certification preferred.
• Six Sigma certification preferred.
• MT(ASCP) or equivalent preferred
