Quality Inspector Summary and Highlights:
The Machine Tech will set-up and operate machines to manufacture product which conforms to quality specifications, at the rated output.
- This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs

Quality Inspector Details and Compensation:
- Location: Columbus, NE USA 68601– 100% on site
Quality Inspector Responsibilities:
This position requires an individual with the ability to perform multiple tasks within the shipping
and re0ceiving function, including shipping and receiving of all materials. This position also
requires customer order processing and inventory management for in process and finished goods.
Responsibilities:
Physically unload and perform visual inspection of inbound/outbound freight.
Receive raw materials.
Assign lot numbers to incoming materials and submit it to QC for incoming inspection
Perform data entry for all materials in ERP (JDE) system
Prepare and affix appropriate documentation to cartons and packages.
Manipulate computer terminal to generate shipping labels, File import documents and
distribute copies to appropriate personnel
Generate commercial invoice for international shipments
Maintain inventory of supplies and finished good
Enter the orders in to JDE, generate order confirmation and send it to customers.
Create packing slips and ship orders.
Send shipment notifications and tracking info to customers.
Domestic shipping
Package & label finished good
Special projects as required.
Quality Inspector Requirements:
High School diploma required.
Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in a shipping receiving and material handling function,
preferably in the medical device industry or equivalent.
Knowledge and familiar with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and ISO 13485
and/or ISO 9001 (current versions).
Well organized with good recordkeeping skills.
Ability to work well with others and to communicate effectively
Excellent communication skills
Demonstrated ability to follow directions, stay on schedule, adhere to standards, and pay
attention to details
