Position Duties:
1. Reviews job set up to verify that all material and inspections sheets are present and accurate.
2. Performs receiving inspection of purchased materials.
3. Performs random inspections as required by the In-process Inspections Sheets.
4. Maintains documentation of all inspection and test results.
5. Approves or rejects finished material prior to storage in the Finished Goods Warehouse.
6. Performs dock audits on shipments prior to them leaving the dock.
7. Prepare written reports for the Quality and Environmental Manager, when assigned.
8. Work with scales and other measuring equipment to perform inspections.
9. Identify when equipment is due for calibration.
10. Maintains workstation in a neat and orderly fashion.
11. Preserves the quality systems necessary to achieve and maintain TS-16949 registration.
12. Maintains records and files.
13. Identifies and Quarantines non-conforming material.
14. Promotes safety awareness and conformance to the organization's safety policies and procedures.
15. Demonstrates the highest standards of ethical conduct as stated in the organization's employee manual.
16. Follow quality system procedures necessary for Goodwill Industries of Greater Detroit to maintain TS-16949 and ISO-14001 Certification.
17. Performs all duties to the standards established by the organization, its funding source(s) and other regulatory bodies.
18. Performs other duties as required.
