APEX Placement and Consulting has partnered with a logistics company in the Wayne County (Riverview) area. They are looking to add a Quality Inspector to their already amazing team. The primary responsibility is to perform mechanical and visual inspections of raw materials, products, and assemblies to defined specifications

What your day will look like:
- Lead Quality labor projects, including reworks, quality sorts and inspections
- Track Quality labor project data - number of parts inspected, rejected, and hours associated
- Inspect loads prior to shipping to verify accuracy
- Perform cycle counts to ensure inventory, shipping and receiving accuracy
- Perform process audits, report fundings to Manager, and assist with PWI updates
- Assist in maintaining records for the Quality & Performance Department
What we are looking for:
- Minimum high school diploma or GED, and preferably one year experience in a related field
- Proficient with computer, basic skills with Microsoft applications
- Willingness to work overtime on short notice as needed
- Basic Math Skills
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. as needed
- Able to travel between Riverview and Canton warehouses as needed
