Quality Inspector

Quality Inspector:

Hours: 5 x 8's shift Mon-Fri 7am-3:30pm. Potential overtime on Saturday 6am-2:30pm (This area does not do a lot of overtime, but it occasionally will have overtime on Saturday)

Pay: $18-$21 per hour (pay will be based off previous experience)

Type of work: This job is an inspection job. Employee will be expected to follow all our quality guidelines and know our quality rules and regulations. We are an ISO regulated company. Knowledge of ISO regulations is desired but not required. Employee will need to inspect parts as the enter the quality lab they will be learning how to inspect numerous parts in various stages of production. Some inspections will be verification of number, size, shape, and weight. They will verify the coating job and how well a part was coated. They will be inspecting materials such as foam, carbon fiber, different fabric materials, electrical circuits, different types of metal, and plastic. They will need to have good attention to detail, be able to count well, understand how to use a tape measure, and be able to calculate simple math. The use of a basic calculator is provided to check work. They will need to be comfortable with a computer in order to log work information, clock in and out of jobs, and search for job aids.

Physical requirements: This job requires standing for long periods of time, consistent use of hand wrist and forearm, ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
