Job Description
- Perform visual inspections and measurements at various stages of manufacturing to ensure that the machined components adhere to company’s quality standards and customer specifications.
- Interpret dimensions and tolerances on blueprints/drawings used in the manufacturing of products.
- Select measuring tools and equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and optical comparator to perform accurate measurements.
- Perform calibration and maintenance of measuring devices.
- Document inspection results and maintain accurate records of quality control activities.
- Identify and report any non-conformances or deviations from quality standards to the appropriate personnel.
- Participate in quality audits and assist in the development and improvement of quality systems.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies related to quality assurance.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; advanced technical education or certification in Quality Assurance is preferred.
- Familiarity with quality control tools and methodologies.
- 1-3 years experience conducting quality inspections using various measurement instruments such as calipers, and micrometers.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify defects or deviations from specifications.
- Strong analytical skills to analyze data and identify trends or patterns.
Pay: $16.00-$20.00 an hour based on experience
