Summary Description:
AeroTECs Arlington Manufacturing Center Quality Inspector provides Inspection support to the Arlington Manufacturing Center. The AMC Ops Division is responsible for providing resources and facilities for fabrication, assembly, quality, manufacturing, instrumentation installation and equipment to support customer requirements.
The Quality Inspector position is responsible for managing any final approval/inspection needs during the manufacturing process. Position also completes special projects and tasks assigned by manager.
Job Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):
- Carry out physical inspections on machined or painted parts for damage or defects.
- Performs measurement inspection on parts including First Article Inspections per AS9102.
- Performs inspections using CMM.
- Provides feedback to machine shop and engineering for adjustments as required
- Work closely with the production team to identify potential quality issues and report them to the Quality Manager
- Initiate and coordinate outside calibration of instruments as required by schedule
- Participate in promoting and developing the AeroTEC Quality Culture.
- Complete special projects and miscellaneous tasks as assigned by manager.
Level Requirements (Minimum):
Education
- High School Education (Or Equivalent)
Experience
- 5+ years experience doing inspections both Manually and on CMM.
- 3+ years experience programming CMM's (CMM Manager preferred).
- Experience with AS9100 Standard and AS9102 FAI Inspection Reports.

- Travel 25% (flying and driving) to various international and domestic worksites may be required.
- Driving personal vehicle for errands required. State drivers license and clean driving record required.
